01 / Scope and operator

These terms describe use of lansiyao.com, the personal Site of Siyao Lan (兰斯尧 / Lancer), including its interactive and research features. They were updated on 3 October 2026. Read the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer alongside them. If you cannot follow a condition for a feature, stop using that feature. Applicable mandatory rights remain in effect.

02 / Access and responsible use

Public browsing does not require a Site account. You are responsible for material you submit and for keeping your task access information and API credentials secure. Use the Site lawfully and respect other people's privacy and rights. Do not submit malicious files, impersonate another person, bypass access controls or usage limits, disrupt infrastructure, or use credentials you are not authorised to use.

03 / Public contributions

Comments are public, including their display name, text, and date. Publish only material you have the right to share. You retain your rights in a comment and allow the Site to store, display, and moderate it for this feature. Comments may be hidden or removed to address abuse, infringement, security, or relevance. Current removal uses soft deletion, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

04 / Site content and licences

Unless a specific licence says otherwise, rights in original writing, fiction, music, photographs, and other original works on the Site are reserved by their respective rights holders. Viewing a work does not grant a general right to reproduce, redistribute, or use it commercially. Explicitly licensed open-source projects and third-party assets follow their own licences and attribution requirements. No single Creative Commons licence is applied to all Site content. Quotations and uses permitted by applicable law remain available; contact Lancer for other republication, adaptation, or commercial permissions.

05 / Your research materials

You retain your rights in research inputs. By requesting a task, you permit the processing, temporary storage, transmission to necessary infrastructure and your selected model provider, and delivery needed to perform that task. This permission is limited to providing the service and does not authorise public showcasing of private inputs. Confirm that you may submit each file or excerpt. Rights and permitted uses of model outputs can also depend on the selected provider's terms and applicable law.

06 / Running a research task

Research tools send selected topics or excerpts and necessary prompt context to your chosen provider. You are responsible for choosing a provider, reviewing its terms and processing locations, and checking the suitability of the material sent. Outputs need independent review, source checking, and any appropriate tests before use. Task access lasts seven days from creation; save results you need during that period. Technical failures can interrupt a task or make a result unavailable.

07 / Fees and cancellation

The Site currently charges no research service fee and collects no website payments. Calls made with your API key may be billed directly by your model provider under its pricing and account settings. Cancelling a task can stop further work where technically possible; it cannot undo calls already made or charges already incurred. Free hosting may sleep or restart. The Site does not automatically start a new charged run after an interruption.

08 / Availability and responsibility

Features, availability, and technical limits can change as the Site develops. Content and tools are provided within their stated scope, without a promise of uninterrupted operation or error-free output. Responsibility for loss is assessed under applicable law, the circumstances, and each party's contribution. These terms do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable mandatory consumer rights.

09 / Contact and updates

Send service issues, copyright enquiries, or requests about these terms to lancer20060105@gmail.com. For copyright concerns, identify the work, its location, your relationship to the rights holder, and the issue so it can be reviewed with minimal necessary verification. Updated terms will appear on this page with a revised date. A material future change to fees or data handling should be reviewed before you start another task.
